A grant funding of $22,200 from The Community Foundation and its affiliate Fund for Haywood County will support a collaborative Farm to School project designed to address concerns about nutrition and health and the disappearance of small farms.
The Community Foundation recently adopted a new strategic plan that focuses discretionary resources on People in Need, Early Childhood Development, Food and Farming and Preserving Natural and Cultural Resources.
